Last week's #training was not bad.
I didn't do as much and didn't have time to get up to the #mountain for #CrossCountrySkiing but that didn't stop me from doing my training plan with @nordicskilab . I still hit 5 days a week of workouts.

The #running photos were from Wednesday morning, running at 6am before starting work at 7:30am. Some days I start work at 6am and those are my rest days because I always feel too tired after work. Some days I start work at 9am, so I have more time for #gym #workouts on those days.

The photos of #KinBeach were from road #cycling yesterday, as it's far more enjoyable to ride my bike at a Zone 1 #HeartRate than it is for me to #run in Zone 1. The "bike streets" are so sketchy in @cityofvernon - not all the streets connect, and very few of them have bike controlled traffic lights, or a bike level button to push on the curb side of the lane. Luckily, I don't care about riding in traffic (in the daylight), but the design isn't going to encourage ridership. My #ride was nice, and the weather was cooperative!

I look forward to getting onto the mountain at least once this weekend.

The smile is a lie. This was not a fun day.

I avoided #CrossCountrySkiing at @sovereignlake today because there were races happening all weekend. There would have been many usable trails, but I didn't want to take up space in the parking lot.

So I went to @silverstarmtnresort instead. I have a bad habit of going to Silver Star in bad #SkateSkiing conditions and today was no exception.
I took the gondola up to ski to the Alder Point loop. I did the loop, then cut across Moose Alley and Coming Round the Mountain and then took Paradise all the way back to the village, because the trail from the gondola to the loop was down, and that climb back up with those conditions would have made me cry.

@strava keeps track of segments and showed me today that every segment that I did today that I last did during the @s2s_nordic race in April, took me 3 times as much time. Which matched my disappointment, when I saw that my #ski today took me 3 hours instead of 1 hour.

Thankfully, I had enough maple syrup portions with me and I didn't use them all. Despite my #BloodSugars dropping fast at the start (literally inside the gondola before I even started skiing), they stayed steady throughout the ski.

It took every bone in my body not to beg the ski patrollers to give me a ride back to the village! I wasn't hurt, my blood sugar wasn't low, I just made a poor choice today! Conditions won't always be my friend.

Went for a #run this morning around 7:30am. The sky really was that pink! #OkanaganSunrise

The run itself was mentally easy, do 3 #intervals of #running in Zone 4, followed by 3 minutes of rest. I did 4 intervals, and I ran slower in my "rest" interval otherwise, my #HeartRate wouldn't have been in Zone 4 the whole time for the "work" interval, it would have taken some time to climb up there.

The weather this morning was -1C and I took my new @fabletics outfit out for a test! I hadn't bought from them in a while, and I needed a new pair of pants and a new sports bra.
The pants for fit and comfort were a 10/10. They have deep side pockets so I didn't need to wear my belt pocket, but I was a little disappointed there was no secret pocket in the waistband for my house key. Oasis Pure Luxe High Waisted Legging is the style.
I was very sad that even though they were high-waisted, they still kept falling down. I was hoping that when I started to sweat, the pants would stay up better but alas, they did not. I was also wearing two long shirts overtop, but the fabric layers didn't stick together to create reliable coverage over my torso.
Granted, my body shape has always been slippy slidy for fabrics and Fabletics has never believed in drawstrings! For reference, I'm wearing the size Large, and my waist is 31.5 inches and my hips are 43.5 inches. Most pants fall to my hips. It was nice to be able to choose my inseam though as I have short legs! I'm 5'5" and my inseam is 28".

The sports bra on the other hand was 10/10 in fit, comfort, and preventing discomfort doing high impact running! No Bounce High Impact Sports Bra is the style.
No chafing, no re-arranging, no pain, no bother! I was impressed that it fit well, because Fabletics also never includes adjustable straps. I would have liked a hook and eye closure in the back so I didn't have to yank it over my head, but I will keep dreaming!
For reference, wearing the size Large and I'm a 36C.

I included a photo fully clothed in case anyone was worried I ran outside in -1C weather wearing just the sports bra! I wrote the review because women need quality clothing to be active!
